Wandering Around Downtown Chicago - Part 3
Continuing my journey through Chicago’s downtown area, I made my way along the Chicago River. At one point I came across this bronze statue of a dude, waving his arm around. I don’t know who he is (or rather was) because I didn’t read the inscription. But his arm against a backdrop of glass and concrete…

Sometimes you can catch very interesting things in a reflection. This building reflected in the water. I’m not sure how interesting it seems but I applied a little bit of Photoshop to “enhance” the mood.

Later, a bunch of sailors in uniform, both men and women, were crossing the street.

I took this next one with the Canon 70-200 f/4. I admit I fumbled a little with the controls for Servo AI focusing and the image isn’t tack sharp but it’s definitely acceptable. I like the way the fairly long lens compressed the perspective.

Lastly for this series is an American flag waving against an unfinished construction.

(Stay tuned for more of this series)
