Wandering Around Downtown Chicago – Part 2
This is my final post for this year. Has it been a good year? I don’t know, maybe. Will next year be better? I don’t know, maybe. I wish to thank those who have visited me these few months since I launched the blog. It’s been slow at the beginning but I hope that I’ve picked up speed and will definitely do my best to continue updating with new photos, equipment reviews and other interesting (I hope) stuff.
To continue with the second part of my stroll around downtown Chicago, I will present a few images taken right next to the Chicago River, where there’s a small monument to the soldiers who died in Vietnam.
Here’s a view under one of the bridges across the Chicago River.

These are badges from the various US organizations that were remembering the veterans. One of them had fallen off. I was surprised that they hadn’t replace it.

This is the commemorative plaque stating that “Chicago Remembers”; the soldiers who died, that is.

A view across the bridge I had photographed earlier.

Another bridge was closed for traffic.
