Millennium Park - Part 2
Across the road from Millennium Park, along Michigan Avenue, is a tall wall of buildings. Their stone facades and myriad of windows seem daunting at first. Their square geometries are very interesting to the (wannabe) artist.

It seems that streets are the only feature that breaks the seemingly impenetrable wall of glass and concrete. It was a warm and sunny weekend and hundreds or perhaps thousands of people were out on the streets and in the parks, with vehicles to match.

Within Millennium Park is an interesting contraption. It’s a tall rectangular block of monitors which displays a multitude of faces. I later found out that these faces belong to inhabitants of Chicago. Well, that’s interesting. As an engineer, I was curious about the nature of the display but I couldn’t get too close thanks to the hordes of kids splashing in the water around the display. Water? Yes, each face had a pipe jutting out of it’s mouth, spouting water. Hmm, freaky.

(Stay tuned for the final part)
