If you drive about 30 miles north from the Mississippi Palisades State Park you will reach a quaint little town called Galena. It seems to be rather famous around these parts for 2 reasons that I discern: skiing and balloon rides. The surrounding rolling countryside isn’t bad either, in fact it is quite idyllic.
