		<description>If the photos you took were bad, I&#039;d be inclined to blame either your scanner or the skill of the person operating the camera. Even using garden-variety film from the drugstore, a high-end 35mm SLR from the 70s that&#039;s up to spec should be able to produce photos that can &lt;em&gt;easily&lt;/em&gt; match those of any mid-tier DSLR and that will put to shame the output of any sub-$300 digital point and shoot.

The internet and your local library are full of magnificent photos that were shot on 35mm film, so the problem is obviously not with the format.</description>
