So yeah, now I'm even happier that I canceled. I think we should just wait a while and see if Olympus manages to correct the AF through some better firmware because in the end it's all about the algorithms which are not efficient enough. I told them I wasn't ready to buy for the same reasons you described in reading and seeing results from this combo. I was looking to see if there was something to replace my aging G9.
