Just wanted to share this link with everyone interested.

This guy has posted several mods for the Cactus V2 wireless triggers on his blog.
Very interesting stuff. For those of you who’ve got the imagination and skills, these wireless remotes are very mod-able.

The three mods he’s performing are (in order of difficulty):
- adding a lanyard
- adding an external AA battery pack to the receiver, which is really awesome because it saves you money when you need to replace the expensive CR2 lithium battery
- adding an antenna to the transmitter for improved range
